Please help

Alright guys. I need your help. But before I go on, please PLEASE spare me all the crap you want to give me about this. I genuinely need your help with something. You can say all of your "I told you so's" later.

I went down to Autobahn today and confirmed what I thought: they have made little to no progress on my Golf. What it comes down to now is me wanting to get it out of there and take it to a shop that will finish it. Here's what I know for sure needs to be done, but I may be missing something:

~ front seats need to be re-bracketed and mounted
~ wiring harness needs to be hooked up
~ battery put in (originally planned to relocate it to the trunk, so that would be super)
~ interior needs to be put back together
~ I shaved the bay, so catch cans need to be installed
~ There can't be more than 20 hours left on this car, MAX. I have the money and am more than willing to pay for your time.

So. That being said. Where can I take it? I want to get it out of there within the next two weeks. I'm done dealing with this crap.

Take it to Dan Held, Be running in 20mns!He is the King of VR swaps. Hardey's is a great shop too. They have a few VR swaps under their belts too.

i have offered up help for about 2 years now haha,no crap intended...also recently megan. you know.

bring it to Hardeys and they can put it together and i can help when i am able to.
shouldnt be bad at all.

Haha! Yeah, I got that. I just didn't know his last name, so I got confused for a second.

Thank God Megan!! It is amazing to me that your swap still isn't done, of course mine is still missing a hood since I decided to test it out without having the latch on and all of a sudden......Woosh!!! a broken windshield and a bent up hood. Hopefully Hardey and Dan can have it back together for you in no time. Then you should drive that Bitch up to Autobahn and do burnouts in the parking lot!!!

well, for the lack of a better term yes. one for power steering and one for coolant.

figuerd you would want to keep all your coolant and PS fluid together and not put them into a seperate canister, I get it for the blow by stuff cause you don't want it going back to the motor but I think I like having all my coolant and PS fluid in there proper systems and not in a waste can for stuff your trying keep out of your motor. But what do I know, maybe lack of communication is the issue with the shop. If someone came to me and said "hey I want some coolant and PS catch cans" I would say "they are back orderd they will be comming in with the flux capacitors"

she has the cans, when ordered they were part numered/labeled as catch cans, but reality, they are both just metal resivior cans for teh shaved bay look.

I kid, I kid cause I love

but now that I think about it, why not delete power steering? Its not your daily driver, steering only gets hard when your stopped, just deleted a can and some lines for an even cleaner bay, and got some extra power.

I'm still thinking about that, and may decide to tackle that later. For now, I just want the damn thing back, so I'm going to do that the quickest and easiest way possible (for those of you who don't know, Autobahn has had that car since July 14, 2009).
